The photograph shows the fuselage department located in Plant 1 of the Dayton-Wright Airplane Company. Employees of Dayton-Wright work around the cockpit area of the De Havilland DH-4s. The De Havilland DH-4s have the Liberty 12 cylinder engine exposed and the landing gear is attached to the front fuselage. In the background female employees are working.
