Title: Interview with C.J. McLin conducted by James St. Peter on April 28, 1985 about the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University
Author: St. Peter, James
Description:

In this interview Ohio State Assembly Representative C. J. McLin discusses his involvement with the movement to bring the School of Medicine to the Dayton area.

He begins with his background and activities as a State Representative prior to the drive for a School of Medicine, and continues with an analysis of the political fight in the State Legislature for the School. Representative McLin describes the reasons for his determination that a medical school be established in Dayton and the role that the School of Medicine should play in the black community in Dayton. Representative McLin then discusses what he feels has been a lack of commitment on the part of the Wright State School of Medicine to the black community since its development.
