In this first interview with Dr. J. Robert Suriano, first Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs of the Wright State University School of Medicine, Dr. Suriano discusses his background prior to coming to Wright State University, his first priorities and initial activities as Associate Dean, and the development of his staff.

In the second part of his interview, Dr. Suriano discusses the Admissions Committee of the School of Medicine. He discusses in detail the mission of the committee, the recruiting and training of its members, and how the committee operates.
