In this third interview, Dr. Beljan discusses the development of the affiliation agreements between Wright State and the area hospitals. Dr. Beljan also discusses the development of the Joint Coordinating Committees; the positions of Associate Dean for Hospital Affairs, Veteran's Affairs, and Air Force Affairs; the affiliation with the Veterans Administration and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base; the role of the Greene and Montgomery County Medical Societies and the sources of funding for the School of Medicine. The interview closes with a discussion of the mergers of the Cox Heart Laboratory for Cancer Research, with the School of Medicine. |
