The article, 'Over a Herd of Cattle': The Wright Brothers and the Pursuit of Flight at Huffman Prairie Flying Field, by Elizabeth Fraterrigo discusses the role that Huffman Prairie played in the events of the Wright Brothers early attempts at perfecting flight. Fraterrigo explains the use of the field and difficulties faced by the Wright Brothers and the advances that they made due to the flights at Huffman Prairie.
