Wilbur Wright arriving for the medals ceremony during the 1909 Wright Brothers Homecoming Celebration held on the morning of Friday June 18, 1909 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Wilbur Wright is approaching the stage for the ceremony. In the grandstands, school children are clothed in red, white, and blue to form a United States of America flag. The large crowd and soldiers from the Second and Third Regiments of the Ohio National Guard are at the top of the image. A line of horse drawn carriages extends along the right side of the image.
