Edward E. Burkhart, Mayor of Dayton and Judson Harmon, Governor of Ohio are shown at the 1909 Wright Brothers Homecoming Celebration medals ceremony held on the morning of Friday June 18, 1909 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Governor Harmon is wearing one of the medals that was presented to the committee members and distinguished guests of the celebration. The medal is comprised of a United States of America flag ribbon with a medallion of the Wright Brothers' profiles, a Wright Flyer adorns the top, along with a post labeled "Guest".
