The image shows Dayton Glee Club members, dressed as troubadours, marching in the parade during the 1909 Wright Brothers Homecoming Celebration. The Glee Club members carried wreaths and garland and laid these at the feet of the Wright Brothers. The Wrights were seated in the reviewing stand, at Main Street and First Street, in the Court of Honor. The glee club sang "Hail to the Wrights" written by E. B. Grimes from the "Soldiers' Chorus of Faust."
