The photograph is of two Wright Model A Flyers flying over the crowd at the Harvard-Boston Aero Meet. It is believed that the planes were piloted by Ralph Johnstone and Walter Brookins. Automobiles are parked along the left side of the image. The image was taken at the Harvard-Boston Aero Meet which was held in Atlantic, Massachusetts from September 3-13, 1910 and was sponsored by the Harvard Aeronautical Society. |
