The photograph is of two aviators at the Harvard-Boston Aero Meet which was held in Atlantic, Massachusetts from August 26 through September 4, 1911 and was sponsored by the Harvard Aeronautical Society and the Boston Daily Globe. The group standing for the photograph are from the left side of the image to the right Harry Atwood, Claude Grahame-White, and Sidney MacDonald, White's manager. The image is the same as item number MS338_07_01 which is in the form of a glass lantern slide. |
