The photograph is of the wreck of A. V. Roe's triplane at the Harvard-Boston Aero Meet which was held in Atlantic, Massachusetts from September 3-13, 1910 and was sponsored by the Harvard Aeronautical Society. The triplane was destroyed while landing at the field. Two unidentified people are standing along the left side of the image and the grand stands are behind the wreck. |
