The photograph shows the village of Germantown, Ohio as seen looking southeast from the Miami Military Institute, ca. 1900. Main Street runs across the middle of the image and the downtown buildings are in the center of the image. The baseball diamond, in what is now know as Veterans Memorial Park, is in the lower right corner of the image. Miami Military Institute was located on an area known as "Stump's Hill." This photograph is from an album in the Martha McClellan Brown Collection. |
