| Author: |
|
| Abstract: | Rising rates of childhood obesity in the United States have serious negative consequences for the physical, mental and emotional health of children. Physical activity is an important factor in regulating caloric energy balance. Children spend a significant part of their day in school and it is important that time is available during the day for physical activity.
